Yeah it was a good 15 goals difference from what I was told, although it was said that the score doesn't reflect the game, Goodies just couldn't convert apparently.
My new Mantra - I am no longer available to things and people that make me feel like shit
Buddha had both groups in after the match and his comments two both sides were really well received. Port got a solid hit out and their players were made to earn it. Goodys had a first hand look at the next level. Ports spread and run was very impressive. Saints kept at it all night but lost puff and concentration for the last 15 minutes. Port's squad was all AFL listed except for about 6 blokes. Bloody great experience.

My brother said the main difference in the teams was Ports spread from a contest. Also the positioning of players and running patterns, Ports forward line pushes right up into the centre of the ground while Goodwoods like all Amateur club forwards spend most of their time in forward 50.

They lost by 108 points . Scores don't blow out by that much and not reflect the game . All credit to them for wanting to have a crack at a much stronger opponent though. Not going to do them any harm leading into the season
