Has there been forfeits? I do think that there is some number issues this season but I don't recall any forfeits beforehand, a few times where there's been some top ups from the other team though.
Forfeits is probably the wrong word. Moreso when some sides didn't have the pre-requisite numbers to start a game and players swapped at the begininng. Anyhow, just wondering if all clubs will be able field teams. There has be a general decline in junior numbers over the years and a lot of work to encourage kids to play. Is it working?
Speaking to a parent who has kids at Hamley and its not sounding great, is seriously looking at moving his son over to Freeling or Kapunda. Have noticed a stack of clearances from Virginia to the Gawler sides so one would think they will be struggling or perhaps not be fielding a side. Rather sad to see the lack of junior numbers in some areas

The Virginia debate has always stumped me. The demographics are changing quickly, and with ~ 2,000 people living there I find it hard to understand why they can't get 20 kids wanting to play footy there.

The problem is that of those 2,000 people, it seems very few are 'footy' people and those that are, are not involved with the junior program or formally (committee) with the operations of the club.

What clubs look like having young lads playing in the A grade this season? U21s! Always interested to see who plays there next gen. I know two wells will have: D.wise B.Daly (best on in last years B grade gf, had a big pre season) J.Pellizzari might see him self in the mix fresh out of colts. And couple of colts showing they might be able to have a go - Samuel Harding, Jamie humphreys, Noah Barnett, David hogan.

Good and Watson make the grade easy. Haven't seen Clothier play As but reckon he'd be fine. Not sure on Dunstan and Roberts and I'm pretty sure Jordan Kenny has played As in the past.
