Im of the mindset that we should get something really nice to eat a couple of nights a week, and the others we should just eat to get nourishment. That way when we do go out, we have more money to spend and enjoy ourselves. This view is not necessarily shared throughout the household.
I have a cooked meal every night, I have my 2 kids with me 4 nights a week and I'm by myself Monday, Tuesdays & Thursdays, I'll skimp on my lunches to make sure that I can eat well in the evening, we have a lot of various stir-fry's so I can chuck a heap of vegies in.
I do pick the right time to go into Woolies though to grab their reduced meat specials as we like to have a good steak a couple of times a week, I've scored pretty well there through incorrect labeling aswell.

I rate that butcher, but if anyone has any better butches let me know
may give them a crack, I live in north gate so around that area would be preferred.

Gawler River Cattle have a shop near Target in Sefton, they have decent specials, the one at Mawson Lakes has a great range of chicken schnitty's at a decent price.

I go to Gawler River Cattle Co. at Angle Vale. I've never been disappointed with their meats or their service.

The other week to get to the $10 Eftpos minimum there I had to get 6 sausages, 4 rissoles and 4 beef skewers. Good value.

Not a fan of any of the Gawler River stuff, JD on Bower Road is good quality though.
My preference is Baa Moo Oink on Rowells Road near Flinders Park Footy Club. The best in the West IMHO.
