AGM was held a few sunday's ago following the presentation lunch. All clubs were asked to vote on changing the fixture to all one-dayers. This motion was outvoted 6-3, so the status quo will remain for 15/16. One club in particular who have been very vocal on their desires for all one-dayers the past 4 or 5 years may be seriously looking to play at neighbouring league, which will be a big loss for the TVCA. I suspect another club may also be sniffing around elsehwere.

With another motion of all one dayers dismissed, a TVCA premiership under their belt, and their U15s having enjoyed playing in the MTCA comp the past 3 or 4 years, perhaps that threat may now become reality?
The other club I wont mention b/c it's nothing more than a hunch.
i was surprised by the 6-3 result. Last season it was 5-4. A lot of one-sided two day matches in TVCA as half the teams struggle to bat more than 35-40 overs. I guess there are still some of us that enjoy the more traditional format though.
