Only a short one unfortunately we kept getting raped by the AFL and couldnt keep it going. You guys were blessed to have a group that stayed together all those years. You didnt seem to have the turn over that clubs face now and thats a credit to your club. The AFL will come in and pick the bones from the SANFL clubs again this year

The reserves debacle had me ready to quit but have kept going despite my interest wanning even when we were winning. Am still filthy with the gutless board but loved the club too much to walk away like most of my mates have.
Ive always said once a AFL reserves side wins it I would walk away and there is a very strong chance it will be this year. Hence why I said "probably" my last game. Now relying on the Eagles, West or Centrals winning the flag to ensure im back next year

I think you will find that Central had a fairly big turnover of players during our dynasty too - there were 62 different premiership players during that era. I doubt that Norwood went anywhere near that. 28 of those went on to play AFL football.
