Are people forgetting that this is a professional sport, and putting yourself out there, you are inviting people to criticise every snap you play?
He put up very mediocre numbers today, and just because he's done a great and difficult thing transferring sports, it shouldnt mean he gets preferrential treatment over other guys that can walk into that side and perform better.
I hope he does do well, but the media need to leave him tonit for a year or two, or the hypes gonna kill his career.
Hes the 4th RB on a terrible roster. That makes him one of the most cuttable players in the league. The 49ers have made their money off his jersey sales, so if he keeps putting those numbers up while being under the microscope, he wont last long.
Anyone that watches Hard Knocks can see there are hundreds of guys that deserve a shot at the NFL before Hayne does.
