The restricted free agent says he owes Adelaide for being patient and having faith in him during his recovery from an ACL.

Otten is an interesting one - dont see him in our best 22 anymore, Cheney and Lever are now ahead of him.

Is very interesting.
2 year deal for a 26 year old who is not in your best 22 and has been renowned for having issues with injuries albeit shown glimpses of brilliance.
I would have been interested to see what kind of weight he would have carried at the trade table.
Not just Crow bashing but to me the Crows have far to many of these 'serviceable' middle age players on their list which kept them around that 6-10 position but never truly threaten for a premiership.

Agreed, although having players like Otten on the list provides depth, and that's necessary in the modern environment. I guess it comes down to what they're paying him to hang around and whether a fringe player is worth it.

i dunno, i think you need these sorts of guys on your list - if he is playing every week that is more worrying (like mackay and VB)
you probably need at least 30 guys who can play AFL footy, and he is closer to the 30th player than the 22nd but as booney said he would be on bugger all if he doesnt play, so i dont hate it

Also from the delistings, VB and McKay are very lucky we don't have much speed on the outside otherwise gonski
