Little Indian in race 2 at Cranbourne tonight. Will be jumping a short favourite at about $2-$3 by the looks. Don't like that one bit.

Barrier 10 lands it mid field with Froggy Newitt on its back. This is where it needs to run as it doesn't lead well but this also means it needs to be ridden for a bit of luck. No doubt it has the ability to win here, Newitt on board is a good thing and I'll be on it but heck, there should be some value for the winner as the Indian has been proven to only start motoring in the last 300m or so. Being a maiden, I don't really know a lot about the others in this race.

It has jumped as favourite before in country maidens over the 1200m and been beaten. Mainly due to bad luck in traffic. This could be down to the jockey but when you're boxing through the field that's the risk you take. That price does not reflect the fact this thing needs to be ridden for luck

Barrier 10
Newitt in board

Should be looking to sit 3 wide with cover and win. Ride it as if it is the best horse in the field

That's right. Get round the bend, find the middle of the track or wider and put the afterburners on. Just looks too short for mine.

Winner flogged them. Ran home into 3rd. Might pay to be on the pace tonight.

True to form. Was way too short. Forgot about the race and missed it but did it lob midfield and did it run ok down the straight? Had a bit of extra weight tonight but should never have been that short. Anyone get the winner? Lol

Rising Romance for me in the cup. Positions up well from barrier 2 and she likes to sit up just behind the pace.
Forget last run from barrier 15 in the Turnbull, sat wide in the 2nd half of the field and finished only 3.5L away. Was excellent in both the Memsie(6th 1.7 from Boban) and the Makybe stakes (2nd 1/2 neck from Fawkner).
LPH I disagree with you regarding the jockey. I think he is head of a new bunch of jockeys about to break into the top ranks.
Small e/w bet on 4 as well. Barrier is a concern, but has plenty of ability. Just not sure where he sits tho, if they go hard, he is a great chance.
I'll be working some exotics around 4,6,2,12,14.

Mongolian Khan - too good & clearly I'm no judge.

4 Placings!
Trip to Paris, Ivanhowe, Jesse Belle, Miss Promiscuity .... & I still LOST on the Day!
Trifectas cost you too much money to put on - high risk for high return :(

Who Shot Thebarman - didn't run on, circling the field.
Disappointing!

Oh well, Cox Plate this week - back on the bike :D

Wow. I think my eyes have only just recovered. After all expenses (beer, food, taxi's, betting) I came out about 100 up.

Very good day on the punt! Didn't start well but I recovered with a few decent collects. I can thoroughly recommend going.

i had 6 & 4 in the cup quinella (should've done any2) and Trip To Paris split the pair. Trip To Paris is my cup tip now. It was running on really well despite the 2400 not being it's ideal distance.
