Looking to get Callaway irons,

Gold world on West Terrace have lasts years model in their catalogue for arouns $550 I think it is... thoughts?

Looking at buying a range finder very soon, can anyone recommend a certain one or even if they are worth it at all. Thanks in advance

I don't use them. I go by the 150 and 100 markers that's about it. Bloke I play with swears by his tho it's a Bushnell I think the brand is. I think there pretty dear as well.

At your home course you don't really need it. Over time you get used to certain objects as markers, its an unfamiliar course where it comes in handy.

Bushnell seem like the best brand just doing a little research. They aren't cheap that's for sure. If I get one I'll give my feedback on here.

Very true Heater. In fact you don't even need the markers it just comes second nature.

It's not true what they say about you mate your a very clever man. ;)

are phones with gps apps allowed in competition these days?

if so, golfshot is much much cheaper than any rangefinder, and it works great. accurate to a couple of metres based on me standing right next to known course markers etc.

but not sure if they are actually allowed as i dont play in comps

State Sanctioned events no. Must be a dedicated device.

Club's have local rules regarding the use of them.
