Have to agree with Slats on this ne "why is the Massuse fielding for the Australian Cricket team?" Horrible misfield costs us two. Test match slipping away.

With the ball just clipping off stump, no competent umpire would blatantly just guess

Ball would have ended up hitting the stumps yes, but hit him outside the line. Can't be out.

Ao is the 12th man just a water boy now? Why not select a decent fielder as 12th man as thats all they can actually do...

Maybe I'm just not getting it...

They do. In each state they get the best fielders to act as 13th and 14th men, as usually the 12th man goes off and plays Shield cricket like Patto did.

One of them fielded for five overs yesterday before tea, but Steve Smith in his wisdom chose to have the Masseur do it after tea.

Then today he fielded most of the innings, made several terrible mistakes. Commentators were rightfully questioning why he was out there, the young lads were there for this exact reason and would have done a better job, they were picked as they are gun fielders.

Steve Smith should have to justify why, but then he dropped two catches himself!!

Wow! Not 1 comment on the DRS stuff up that probably cost NZ a substantial 1st innings lead?
People saying LBWs are out every day of the week despite the ball not hitting in line?
Is there anyone following the cricket that is not a touch biased? Thats ok, doesn't have to be i guess?

As for the Marsh brothers FFS Must be a lot of other guys around Australia shaking their heads what they have to do to get a chance in the top 6.
