Maybe if Hogg wasn't so selfish and retired Agar could be more than a specialist fielder.

If Agar was all that why would they keep bringing Hogg back every season?

Bit harsh LBT, reckon Hoggy is still one of the best bowlers in the comp.
Would not surprise me if teams do what Strikers did tonight, just try and push him around for singles and be happy if he finishes with 0/24.
Scorchers will lose both Marsh boys, Voges and Coulter-Nile for a while, so Agar will play from now on anyway.

That shot was terrible. I know his role is to go hard from the start, but needs to score some runs at least every third innings.
Hopefully Ludeman can keep it going at this run rate!
That year he made those scores he was dropped an unbelievable amount of times before he went on to make the scores in numerous games. The luckiest dud I've ever seen playing cricket and said it 3 years ago. There is a reason why no one in the IPL wanted anything to do with him...
Can you bring a man to his feet when defeat is on repeat?

Always wondered where Simmons came from. Seems like a one hit wonder. Also his fielding at first slip........just made me start thinking he wasnt really up to that level of cricket.

Guess with someone like Simmons you know you're getting someone whose hit and miss - you just persevere and hope he wins you a game off his own bat at some stage.. the more failures the closer to his next big innings? Don't know.. I thought he was ordinary the year he made the runs but had a lot of luck go his way that season.

The one positive with him is he doesnt chew up balls if he doesnt come off ala Carberry from the Scorchers. If he goes cheap just means more balls available to Hodge and Ross later on

He must make the best cucumber and cheese sandwiches.
Some blokes have a bad day, others have a bad year, I think he's just having a lean career.

Resorting to calling A League players girls
The only thing I found remotely laughable about your post, is that you think you are funny

I know the commentators have been covered on here but this Howie guy is a flog who specialises in talking about anything except accurately calling the action. Andy Maher is worse but this guy is simply rubbish as well.

I didn't know that Chuck is the Sydney Sixers assistant coach. Someone actually gave him a job.
Surely if they lose this game they sack chuck....and whilst they are at it scalp Doug the Rug the wanker.

How else do you think the Big Shrek Lawford ended up there?
Speaking of Shrek I don't think Tom Beaton will be sending him a Christmas card anytime soon.......was livid with their collision and accidental ball hit in the back

Surprised no one appealed for Obstructing the field on Beaton for handling the ball. Clearly was a deliberate action with his right hand to knock the ball away after playing his shot and taking his hand off the bat.
