Just got back from a week in Bali with a couple of mates.

Most people lose weight in the tropics, not me, the food was too good . I was the only one who ate non western food all the time, ate the street food, drank the most, didn't take probiotics and didn't get sick. To top it off, I got a whole row at the front of the plane to myself whilst the other two were cramped up the back flying home lol.

Only downside was too many caucasian wankers with tribal tattoos strutting around, what tribe are they from again?

If I want to see pissed up ocker wankers on a footy trip I can go to any regional centre in October/November or the Gold Coast.

Having said that, it's probably cheaper to go to Bali and see them than any centre or the Coast strip.

I've done Thailand ( well out of Phuket ) and if and when I go to Bali ( Mrs. Boon is onto it ) I can't see me anywhere near Kuta or anyother Aussie hotspot.

I am looking into Vietnam later this year though....different beast again.

I've wanted to go there for as long as I can remember. Got some friends over there at the moment (actually they've just shifted to Cambodia) and they're updating everyone via Pic's and stories on FB and the place looks as awesome as I'd always imagined.
