I feel like they've won a fair few B and C Grade flags over the last lustrum while their senior side has been progressively relegated.

ian: we kicked 4.1 - 0.3 into the breeze in the last quarter..both teams were tired but i think those stats dispute your theory..it was a very tough game played at high energy levels and we had 2 guys who were cooked on the bench..you do what you can with what you have available..cheers..

A 6 goal last quarter saw Smithfield steal the victory from Greenies.
Panthers play their ground well and set up a lot of play from the half back line.
Lane still kills it off half back and Thompson is also good.
Clarke in the centre for Greenies was very good.
I would expect both sides to play finals this year.

Was about to post this result
Looks like smithies 3 goals down at half time didnt even score a goal in 3rd quarter then bag 6 goals in last quarter to get up
Could imagine the good times in the crowd last quarter would have been a great time and night at panther park

They certainly had a big crowd cheering them on, their club has come a long way in the last few years.
They seem like a tight bunch of players and supporters and it can be intimidating for opposition teams playing on there deck!
