Everyone except Essendon knew. I think those involved still don't want to admit it, but regardless, they started going backwards on field and they moved him on then. You can call it a coincidence, but nobody else will.

He was getting moved on regardless of the teams form.

The entire football world was telling you to move him on. But in true Essendon style and a sign if arrogance you extended his contact and turned your nose up at everyone else.

It was clear as day he needed to be moved on.
