Plympton defeated a fast-finishing Kilburn by 9 points yesterday, and also had a big win in the magoos.
I tell you what, Plympton's 'cheer squad' in the ute behind the western goals are a great bunch of blokes. In my brief football career, I don't think I'd ever engaged in such good natured banter. If you've seen me in the flesh, you'd know I am a walking target for jokes.
They were offering me beers and KFC in the third quarter (unfortunately I declined), and made a bunch of comments about my girth, but did the latter in a way that didn't come off as malicious. I went to thank them after the game, and they had a beer ready! Great stuff, and what footy should be about.

TV preachers sell salvation for a buck.
You don't need no golden cross to tell you wrong from right,
The world's worst murderers were those who saw the light.
