Is there any good fishing down at Pt Elliot in November? Have inlaws coming over from the states and gonna book a holiday house for a couple nights. Ive wittled it down to a place there but my grandfather inlaw wants to do some fishing...

Round on the jetty at the Bluff, squid galore. Tommies after dark, the odd gar and small whiting.
If he's real keen, real keen, throw a surf rod in anywhere along the Goolwa beaches and hope to hit a salmon.

If you luck out with the fishing, get to the Corio Hotel - they do the best pot of mussels I've ever had.

Yep, I got done at the one near Globe Derby Park last year. Go through it about 3 or 4 times a day and only got the 1 fine, my car had been out of rego for 3 days before I realised it

I'm just back from 9 weeks working at Mt Gambier and District Hospital, with very limited Internet access on a Telstra 4G wifi modem when not flat out working - it was barely affordable to check my email, and bloody slow down there as only getting a 3G connection.
