Onya Theri (and CSB, GDB, Clarrie etc) .. I have no love for Sturt, be there's respect and it's good to see any true SANFL fans these days still getting emotionally invested in their club.

Great summary of the match there. I wish The Advertiser journalists could produce the same passion !!!
I've kept playing the match in my head over the week thinking about potential moves that Godden could have done to try and turn the tide of the match but didn't. One thing I think he could have tried (but I don't recall him doing) was putting Allmond on Kirkwood as a hard tag. Allmond has done the job on the opposition's most damaging onballer a number of times over the years with success. Kirkwood absolutely killed us and if we could have stopped him, it might have gone a long way to changing the result.
But no denying that Sturt just had too many players all across the ground who won their positions.

Only saw bit of the game, but I thought maybe someone like Goldsworthy up forward might have been worth a try. Whilst he's not a KPP, I remember him being creative and damaging near goa (a few years back) when he gets going and felt you needed another scoring threat other than Wundke.

I went to Goa once and you're right mate. The place did look like someone had been creative and damaging at the same time.

JTC at Goa.

Well done to everyone concerned with the running of the Mighty Double Blues as it got a bit hairy there a few years ago in regards to our survival.
Would like to raise a glass to the late Peter Hall, who was a long time volunteer of the club and he only just missed out on seeing another Premiership

Agreed, really sad to hear about Peter Hall, he was also a great contributor to many SANFL Media Guides over the last decade.
