Pretty good effort with this.
West v Norwood is Friday night and then those three Sunday games listed there are Saturday matches.

If they have requested it, you would hope that it hasn't been taken away from South. They are the ones that gave it a go and made it work.

I hope South haven't agreed to give up Good Friday in exchange for the 2 AFL pre season games but I'm starting to smell a rat..............................

Yeah it was and barely attracted 3000 fans.

Are they trying to avoid the "bye" debacle of 2016 by calling round 5 a split round, where it technically isn't a "split round" because you've got Sturt and Eagles playing twice during the round. This way, it doesn't look like the other 8 teams have a bye.
In reality, Glenelg and West have a bye in round 5 (the first week) with the other 6 teams having a bye in the second week (what should be round 6).
Same as the AFL, each team has a "bye" within a 3 week period, not a "split round".
I wonder how many other "split rounds" there will be?
