Not really North East, but a good place to start.

In the NZ innings on Cricket.com.au website, in the one-dayer, why does it say "false" alongside Extras..

Extras - false B 8, LB 5, W 16, NB 0 29

Just wondering if anyone here has bought a bottle of absinthe locally and what they thought of it?

Is Teichenne any good? Green Fairy doesn't seem to be all that popular.

I once bought a mini of Green Fairy for $10 just to try it. I wouldn't bother again...
Green Chartreuse or Cointreau are more to my taste when it comes to liqueurs.
(Occasionally I buy Amaretto.)

No, mostly good white wine, rose, or an Aussie"champagne" like Dominique Portet.
I drink, beer on hot days leaning towards Hahn Superdry lately, and always keep some Irish Whisky on hand.

The evening usually starts with a sunset G&T before dinner - usually Tanqueray as I like its more complex flavour.
(I did open and finish a few months ago my last bottle of Maillac Armagnac, but seem haven't bought any more.)

Southern Comfort did me in, never touch it again. I was only 19, God help me.
