Just something like:

Clubs in Divisions 1 through 7 will follow the promotion and relegation system as per the above rules and regulation except where The League's discretion dictates that the evenness and equity of the competition itself is at threat, whereby The League shall have the opportunity to place individual clubs in the appropriate division given a sufficient period of consultation with the affected parties.

Opens up a large jar of pickles. Gives the clubs a chance to dictate where they will play everytime they go broke and then have lots of money to spend again. Example PARA HILLS.

Para hills never went broke, and also paid all its fees to the league in 2016 as per every other club in the league, 2016 had nothing to with money........

So the players that left, left purely because they didn't like the coaching appointment? And didn't chase offers from other clubs? Which in turn the club couldn't afford to match the offers??

you made the statement the club went broke, couldn't be further from the truth, yes it had a lot to do with appointments and other decisions from people outside of my control, not money

Bombers I can tell you for a fact that we had Para Hills people come to us for next to nix and/or a LOT less than what they could demand elsewhere.

They're good football people - the ones I've met anyway.

Think with people not saying anything with Smithfield/Salis West it was more that it was a bit of an unknown at first.. now by the time this 3rd side has rolled around we know the writing on the wall.

Lot of stink went up about Brahma as well when they dropped down, but history shows they didn't dominate D6 and was right call - guess time will tell if same goes with PH

The Lodge dropped to Div 5 after playing in the D4 GF, didn't win a game and then went to Div 6

Please, Salisbury West had a bloke who had played in the Crows Reserves side the year before playing in a D7 that last year was primarily a C Grade Comp.

I think a couple of my points have been lost, overall they are:

1. The Division 7 A grade fixture is a farce.
2. The placement of North Pines in Division 7 Reserves given point number 1 is blatantly unfair on the other teams, especially considering previous years floggings of those same clubs.
3. Wingfield not being able to play in Division 7 given point number 1 is also nonsensical - to the point that crazy conspiracy theories are being used to explain it.
4. The current system of delegates voting on league wide strategy, rules and team placement is bureaucratic suicide.
5. The Executive Committee need more power to make discretionary executive decisions which are clearly for the betterment of the league and competition.
6. Vote #1 morell.

Looks like this Hot Seat Contestant might be on the money with Greenacres potentially struggling to field a side from all reports.

Still time but these movements make a hell of a lot of sense.

With Greenies seemingly still struggling, they could very well be placed down here with us. Naturally the rules and regs stipulate that West Croydon would be offered the spot in D5 - which you'd expect them to take.

Which means there is a spot in D6. MPFC would be offered it first, if we said no, is there any indication on what we think Adelaide Lutheran would do?

Must say I have never even seen an Luthies poster.

If the Lions took this offer up they stand to avoid PHFC altogether

Sorry but Greenies have been an accident waiting to happen for years.
No juniors since Moses loaded the Ark, although it was attempted recently.
Only survived due to the Roosters influx of coin for the past decade plus.
Good committee people have moved on in life, they are in all sorts of pain.

I spoke with there coach yesterday and he seem really upbeat and not worried at all. He said people are seening the influx of players leaving via the clearance page but not as yet have the players coming in been put up. We play them in a trial in a few weeks and I asked the question if he thinks he they would fill two sides and he said didn't see it being a problem.
