Come on mate, can't you see? These guys on here have got a much better understanding of the deal, the potential and benefits than Port, the Gold Coast, the AFL and several major corporate partners executive teams do. Just wish all the parties involved had consulted these guys first.
I don't have a problem with what Port are doing but the Suns are being super smart about it aswell. More than enough money in China to cover it. Hopefully both make a shitload of money out of it because both clubs need the money
I know everyone (including me) has knocked Hartlett but I've heard from a source inside the club that of the 14 KPI's Hartlett has 12 PB's this pre-season. Apparently the threat of being traded has really hit home and he has almost been the stand out of the preseason I'll watch this with interest.
Like I said that has come from a staff member not a blokes brothers best mate who knows the postie who banged a blokes Mrs who played 4 reserves games at Port in 1987 and got told by the bloke who mows the medium strip out on Queen street.

Takes the sting out of the current women's footy thing, eh? Mind you, maybe that's why they sacked Ebert at the end of that year.

Absolutely the Suns were smart, much smarter than the other two clubs who backed down when it was a home game they'd have to surrender. ( One of them plays in front of 17,000 in Tassie ).

Lonely Planet have South Australia ranked 5th on the Places to visit in 2017 list, China just altered "anti-extravagance" rules ( yep ) to allow more wine to be imported in China, China Southern flying from China into Adelaide, non-stop. You guys really should have got on board, then there'd be more than bottom 4 finish to look forward to in '17.

South Australia featured in the latest 50 shades movie apparently. Mr Grey asks for a Barossa Shiraz, that's gotta stand for something.
Yes, they'll Baidu "Port Adelaide" and look forward to visiting "Low n Slow American BBQ" for ribs and brisket, they might even get to the First Commercial for Wednesday night quiz night.

North traveling to Tasmania should attract a heap of tourists across Bass strait too.
North have over 7000 members signed up in Tassie.
And if you were a genuine North member you would be filthy at coughing up home games. Tassie will get a team in their own right in the next 10-15 years IMO, just a matter of if it's a new entity or relocated Melbourne club

Who were the other 2? I know we were interested at one stage but not prepared to give up a home game plus we are looking at the market in India and possibly testing the waters there in the next 5-10 years
