Kangarilla. Best of luck to him always welcome back. Best kpp I have seen in Div 4-6 in the last 10 years. Super player.
Can you bring a man to his feet when defeat is on repeat?

A great man and footballer passed away this week from the Pooraka Football Club.
Honour your past history Bulls.
Premiership player and a bloke you were very happy was on your side.

Woodville and West Torrens.
I also think he played for Greek Camden.

I recall him playing for Woodville ressies, number 28 if my memory serves me correctly, and yes, I do recall seeing his name appear in the "Football Times" must read paper, I bought it religiously as a kid every Thursday, the newsagent lady used to put one aside for me, well, under her stool.

It was the bomb, had ammo's, SAFA, SANFL 17's through to League, even had the mini league wrap up.

My parents would drive me to all of the newsagents when I couldn't get it at my local.

It was awesome, I've still got a few stashed away somewhere, Gordon Armstrong was the main writer who is still kicking along writing in the Messenger papers I think.
Footy Times must have came out on a Thursday I'd say, it was always in the change rooms after training.
Grab a few West End Draught cans, a few fags and have a read.
Great memories.

Had a look at glenunga v edwardstown today, glenunga had a few out & still won by a few goals, with all the SANFL players they have in they should be flag favourites, looks like it could be money well spent

Flag favourites would be a bit optimistic. They were certainly handy and much better than what I thought they would be given the players they have lost. They are a young side with good hand and foot skill and served it up to Towns all day who have 10 to come in to that team. The issue will be Glenunga's depth. The reserves failed to trouble the scorers in four 20 minute quarters and lacked quality of note.
