Would have been close to a world record for holding the ball decisions- to say they were hot would be an understatement. It also dawned on me late in the game, that I couldn't recall any "out of bounds" frees for the game, and very few boundary throw ins.
Either an indication I wasn't paying enough attention or that coaches have a better handle on the rules 12 months on and have modified game plans to lessen the chances of kicking out of bounds.

Not sure how many were missing yesterday from the best 21 but the work rate, aggression and willingness to take the game on were positives for me. The young blond lad up forward (sorry name escapes me at the mo) , who was in the State squad last year is a keeper for sure.
