It's D5 FFS.. seriously.. 10min and one beer isn't going to impact your recovery so significantly
Sound like a pack of soft potatoes.

So true. My favourite is sinking beers while in the ice bath.

Those that know all (or nothing) had Greenies closing the door a few weeks ago and yet Greenies managed to be matching the (arguably) flag favourites for a good portion of the game.

Well brain cells aren't exactly common place at Greenies.. Pooraka player should probably get tested - got knows what he caught from the errand saliva spray..

Why pinpoint the lack of braincells at one club, I'm very concerned with the lack of respect shown for Greenies this season not only by you but by others too

I have never understood the "must drink in the bar after the game rule".
I personally dislike the vast majority of the opposition I play on, I don't drink beer and don't see the need to be contributing cash into the coffers of clubs that generally speaking pay their players way more than we do. What exactly am I supposed to be doing there?
**** that noise.

Not sure what the policy is for other clubs but Greenies will shout the opposition drinks and generally food after the game...so no cash contribution required

I Don't think its about that Morrell. Quite often clubs put jugs on for oppositions after the game, more just respecting your opposition after smashing in all day.
Although no one from Pulteney came in afterwards Saturday.

No doubt its an old fashioned thing, but to me, especially if it's in a location a long way away, I just want to get outta there and get home. Sorry if that's now considered rude but ah well.Footy Chick wrote:morell wrote:I'm going to get into trouble ... but ...

Each to their own Morgs.
It stems back from the days where people actually used to like socialising with each other, after a hard fought on field battle. I'm sure your magnificent bar facilities would be appreciative of any extra $$ coming it's way from opposition support.
You'd hate country footy then
