Fair enough if you had players out. I wasn't sure how keen some of the lads would have been on trials. I haven't lost faith that you will be there when the whips are cracking and this will indeed be the year the T-shirts get printed :D ( yep that old chestnut)

The Bay's have really good junior programs (won the 15,s, 16, 17 & 18,s last year) and Plympton are one of their clubs so no surprise they would have a few of the Glenelg blokes who would return to their original community club. Most league clubs would have over a hundred at pre-season so a few would have to float back better for the experience when final cuts are made. Not that would have a clue who they are.

Shameless self-promotion here. ;)

Haha I think you will find that it's Bunger Hole who deserves all the credit for that. Over 20 AFL players have come through his programs.

Same up your way with Scotty Stevens nurturing the talent and either getting them on the elite pathway or sending them back to the community clubs better players.

McLeod and Donkersley were Glenelg Juniors and didn't make it at senior level. They played at Plympton last year. I have heard they picked up Lonnie Hampton who Glenelg recruited from Victoria however in his first game he did his ACL. played last year for the Glenelg Reserves after recovering from a recon. Tim Dunkley association medalist has returned to the club.

Seems a few clubs are struggling with numbers. It's a tough gig at times to retain and recruit players.

Kilburn
CLG
Salisbury
Edwardstown
Havens

Plus bonus bet D Bird to quit Havens at 3/4 time to return to the Thunderdome.

I hear North Haven are playing silly buggers with their best players. Apparently D Bird was named as best just to make him feel good and Tom Lipson didn't kick 4 goals, it was his brother Alan.

haha, yeah - Dennis Gregory was spewing - he said first time Gepps won in ages and they still get credited with a loss in the paper

Whilst I'm here, do any Haven folk want to give us first thoughts on Morphies and how you think they'll go....
