Another disappointing crowd. South playing well, haven't lost at home since 2015 but still can't attract more people to it's games.

Any theory regarding Sunday's attracting bigger crowds seems to be more a fairy tale than reality.

Was the most South supporters Ive ever seen at Noarlunga.
Would have been 900 on a Saturday.
At least I didnt hve to walk home due to a record crowd.

Maybe he was referring to the club playing a sound effects album over the PA.

As a West Torrens supporter in the 70s I always had a laugh going to Woodville Oval and hearing the load crowd noise coming from the grandstand and yet there was hardly anyone there. All over the microphone. And of course the woody woodpecker song.
BTW. PhilH what's happened to the Woodville sound system. It had a cold on Saturday. Came out all husky sounding.

Saw the plans for Norwood oval yesterday. Looks sensational. I still love getting down there a few times a year for a few quiet cold ones on Coopers Hill. One of the places where you can watch footy and true genuine banter is still articulated beautifully between supporters. Looking forward to next Friday against the Bays

Not sure mate, I was there, they have upgraded everything and have a new announcer, hopefully just a few teething items getting used to everything.

Anyone know what the truck parked on the wing at Noarlunga was doing? Was it for the game commentary?

The members wing? Seemed like it was there for the opposition coaches and stats people etc. Probably a better option than sitting innthe grandstand like it used to be.
