Personally I didn't think you guys played to bad, Bangladesh at home are a very decent side. To lose the toss and only lose by 20 runs isn't a bad effort.
You just rely on too few outside of Australia and wade should not be in the side.

Us losing to the windies at home is much more embarrassing.

Sure did, we were 0 for 100 chasing 270 and ended up getting rolled for 160. Or it was something like that I've tried to forget it, we did draw the series though.

Our keeper was the difference.....M Wade 9 runs minus 30 byes equals -21 runs. Australia lose by 20!

2 Down needing only 156 more with a bloke unbeaten on 75 and the worlds best ranked batsmen not on 25 far from in the favour of Bangladesh I would've thought young TDK
Never in doubt Dutch ;) I knew there would be a collapse in the middle once the Bangers dismissed Smith and Warner.

The few positives for the Aussies were Lyon and Cummins bowling well and Agar performed pretty well. Good for Warner to respond the way he did aswell.

You mentioned in the international cricket thread that England are very inconsistent. Australia is much the same.

Both sides rely on the same blokes to win matches and seem to have at least two passengers.

Wins by the Windies and the Bangers in the last 24 hours has been one of the best things to happen in Test cricket for YEARS
For Test cricket to survive and Flourish, it cant afford to have countries consistently at the bottom of the heap and uncompetitive for up to decades at a time.

It's funny how Nevill is better than him at everything except this, which appears to be what we pick our keepers on now.

This is an excerpt from this mornings Crash Craddock column:

" Despite the shallow rhetoric spun during the players dispute, you can’t fool the fans.

They have no objection to stars like Steve Smith, Mitchell Starc or Josh Hazlewood lining their pockets with big contracts because they deserve what they get.

But when you have plodders like the Matthew Wade and Glenn Maxwell getting big bucks for being just plain average – or worse – it turns people off."

Yep. On the money.
