Heard people talking during the finals every week about maybe the APFL going the way like Gawler with car free Preliminary/GF finals, Yes/No? Car parking in the streets etc, Will locals kick up? Pension parking/Disable? Not sure it would work in the APFL but who knows.

As an outsider, I think a bigger issue is the finals format. Should be a Sat/Sun semi final weekend like the Barossa and Hills. Doesn't make sense why the team who finishes third/fourth and wins a 1st Semi gets the week off before a prelim.

I think it's solely based around finals gate revenue. It plummets for a 1st semi on a Sunday

Which is usually Father's day and the host club struggles for workers
Congratulations to both the TW and Virginia clubs on their Premierships, TW thoroughly deserved their victory with their never say die attitude and desire , definitely worked out Mallala well, and matched up all over the ground , you can always say its a wasted yr in both grades, which is true to some point, but I believe the development and opportunities given to the younger players will hopefully benefit us in the future, Hearing of a few retirements but like every yr we will see, Did hear it was Lubcke final game and wish him well for the future, Umpiring I give a 7/10 , didn't do a bad job,Again Congratulations to TW/Virginia clubs_ Have a good summer.

generous umpire rating there. There were some baffling decisions going both ways i thought.
Top day yesterday at Mallala. in the end i thought Two Wells just wanted it more. It started the way of a classic Mallala Two Wells match with the roosters working a lot harder to score goals and Mallala scoring goals with a considerable less amount of inside 50's. Even though being down at half time Two Wells were right in the match at half time. Second half was all Two Wells, setting up the win with a brilliant 3rd quarter and it started with a clean break from the bounce which resulted in a goal. Two Wells just seemed to have more run and won the crucial one on one contests when they presented. even though mallala had a slight lead in the last they just didn't seem like they could kill of the game. Loved Hardimans big tackle on Parish near the mallala 50 which prevented a potential score as the scores were level and then big Harry Gameau massive mark and goal which sealed an unlikely win. A lot of happy Two Wells people after the final siren especially those that were around the club when TW suffered losses to mallala in the 1990, 2009 and 2013 Grand Finals.
Congrats to the Roosters - thoroughly deserved the win. Two Wells won the crucial midfield battle, dominated the clearances, were harder at it and were simply more efficient with their use of the footy, particularly in the second half.
