I don't. At all.
Hawthorn have dominated the AFL. As have Geelong. As have Sydney. As have Brisbane.
The notion that you can't have sustained periods of success is defeatist mediocrity accepting bullshit more becoming of the franchise down the road. This is the sort of cultural crap that has pervaded the club of late.
We had our opportunity and didn't take it, we had our chance and let it slip in the early 00's.
Agree, but we've also let it slip since 2013. 2014, 2015, 2016 and now 2017 absolutely wasted years.
I don't expect a flag every year, but I expect us to finish at least where our list and age profile is at and then take our ******* opportunity if it presents itself.
We win one more game we finish second. Two home finals. Maybe a prelim. Anything can happen.
We should've gotten a flag out of the Hinkley group by now. That isn't too much to ask nor is it unrealistic. It should be par for the course for Port.
1 flag every 5 years should be the aim.

Hawthorn are moving aside, Brisbane are in free fall, Geelong are managing it well and Sydney were aided by some AFL love.
Yeah but they've all won flags, multiple times. So it is possible. Equalisation or not.

I don't expect Magpies SANFL type success. Thats simple math, we went from 10 teams to 16 now 18.
But I do expect Hawthorn, Geelong, Sydney AFL type success.

Yep and I want to win the whole ******* thing. As often as possible.
You seem happy with being in the middle and not overtly sucking.
Sadly, so does the club.

Read The Creed. I believe in it. Do you?
For a traditional Port person you exhibit a heck of a lot of non-Port thinking.
