0.9 goals a game says either can Jack Watts.

And I thought you were smarter than that!

Watts spent most of 2012-2015 as a defender.

So did Trengove, which was the comparison.

Do try and keep up.

You're taking those stats over Watts career.

He averaged more than 1.5 goals per game when playing as a fulltime forward. What were Trengove's stats as a forward?

Trengove was tried as a forward and failed, and had become too slow to play down back as well as his skill level being a let down.. Watts is a natural forward, who can swing down back, run through the midfield and is far quicker and better disposal.

Do try and keep up.

Still need to replace them though, and you can't go to the draft to replace them all.

Look Watts might be the worst move since Toumpas, who knows, but obviously more astute football brains than us see value in him being brought to PAFC, and for me that's enough at the moment.

Agree, time will tell.

Sorry morell, you took too long to reply so I've claimed it as a win by default.

Not the most compelling statistical case that i've ever seen to justify dropping one spud to just bring in another!

Bit like the guy you forced out?

Trengove can't play as a forward.

Neither.

That’s all I’ve got this morning, seem to be striking out :)

Trengove left. They need to find a replacement, obviously they see Watts as the right person.

Not like they traded/delisted Trengove then went and chased Watts.. that would be different.

They could have prevented him from leaving by playing him and offering him a contract that reflected his worth if thats the case.

he left because it was clear he was unwanted / surplus to needs. Technically not traded or delisted but only one step away.

Either means one and neither mean none. Thank you, you are correct.

Either is used for positive verbs and neither is used for negatives.
