Lobey will definately miss him.

Playing week in week out on the The Legendary Wistow Paddock (Oval?) would be incentive enough?

I was going to say the Cricket Silly Season is nearly upon us!! But it appears the rumours have already begun of player movements. Any updates???

Dutchy how is the new coach going???

Lets all hope that Hunter & Tarque remain at Glenelg and take Reid with them because if not Meadows will be tough to knock off.

On the Glenelg preseason schedules it appears as though Tarque and Hunter are at Glenelg at least for preseason and Rohan Reid is nowhere to be seen in any of the Glenelg training squads...

time will tell

aaagh you do not want to play against tarque on hard wicket unless you have some sort of death wish he is a very fast bowler and handy batsmen i doubt very very much he would play on hard wicket at all

looks like most of the rumours r getting round already!!
i tell u ther is a fair chance that tarque could play for meadows, heard his groin is troubling him and hes not sure if hes going 2 glenelg yet, from a reliable source!!
with him coming in from 1 end and chad the other, followd by reid's left arm pace and huntsie's spin. not 2 mention the batting line up!! meadows are looking very tough again!! :o

DD you sound like you know the situation at Meadows pretty well are you from Meadows yourself??? Maybe even one of the players??? If not who is your source?? Because the rumour you have just started is massive if Meadows manage to maintain those three players (including Reid).

Did I hear correctly that Eastern Ranges are actually going to play A/2s this year? Did someone there work out that the later 1.30 start gives them an extra 30 minutes drinking time at the Summit Hotel???

And did I hear that the Ling are re-introducing an A/2s. And even more astounding, did I also hear they are putting Hamish in charge???

And what are the Basket's doing? Staying in A/1 I hear, but perhaps their A/3s will be casualties of last year's disaster.

Mylor A/3s looking good on paper too. Pity it's the tiles they spend most of their time on...

btw - I think it's time someone started a new HCA thread for the 2007/08 season.

btw - Frohls left Lobey because he wants to bat further up the order.

Oh, and cos he clocked the captain at the Loby end of season bash...
