The early talk was that they would go with Handscomb as the possible replacement. Obviously got Bancroft there aswell. Agree Carey would have to be the one unless they go with Handscombe for a one off test.
Though Carey is potentially the next long term keeper, is in good BBL batting form (apparently that counts for something) and is pretty much the best glove men in the country.
