Not usually a fan of these fruity/hoppy beers but this one is very good!
Agreed!
I tried the Coopers summer session on the weekend but it’s terrible.
Really fruity tasting.
Didn’t like it.
Havent tried that one yet but my wife has and said it's OK, which has me worried!!
Yeah it’s fruity, refreshing and very feminine tasting!
Is that a drink or a feminine hygiene product?

Beautiful beer but ironically not one I'd have in a "session".
Pale Ale to me is more of a session beer whilst Session Beer occasionally is yum.

i guess it just refers to its lower alcohol content - its a term that was invented for full flavoured beers below 5%, rather than mid strength, which usually implies less flavour

Didn't even realise it was only 4.2%, they've done a fantastic job with it to have that much taste in it. In just assumed it was around 5% when I tasted it.

there's plenty around nowadays. The little bling session ipa, and the pirate life throwback ipa are both examples of excellent session ales

Dining at home, steak on the menu, and have a choice of a cleanskin shiraz or a Gibson Dirtman 2016 Barossa Shiraz.

Bride has just announced she is having an AFD.

On first taste the Dirtman is quite good but I may need at least three more opinions.

It’s friday night mate, give both bottles a go!

It’s illegal and immoral to have an AFD on Fridays at my place.

Plenty of sessionable full strength beers out there.

The lighter brews out there are good mower beers....

At the Joiners Arms tonight before heading to the Gov and tried a Cali-Squeeze Hefe.
Weirdest beer I've ever tasted but quite fun.
It almost tastes and smells like orange juice.
Probably the most refreshing beer I've ever had even though it looks like a cross between a pale and golden ale.

Monday is usually my AFD... Tuesdays a sighter, Wednesday is getting the eye in, Thursday getting the taste for them, Friday, Saturday, Sundays - swim through. Rinse and repeat.

Went to the Birkenhead for dinner last night and tried a Stone and Wood Cloud Catcher. Like all the Stone and Wood products this one was really nice, had an apricot / stone fruit finish, unfortunately at $12.50 over the bar ( 500ml ) I was only having the one, could have smashed a couple more down quite easily.
