Nope, picked the blues... picked the crows and when McGovern marked I thought they had stole it...DOC wrote:guessing you missed Carlton?

So you're saying that if you got less you're going well? Sounds a bit backwards to me...Bum Crack wrote:nuggety goodness wrote:Picked 7 this week after changing my Friday night tip to the hawks last minute! IDIOT!

Also most Essendon fans were telling us to get on Carlton this week, so really we had some warning about one of them.Wedgie wrote:There was only 2 major upsets so I'd hardly be telling people that got 7 they must have a limited knowledge.

I'd say more like 4.

West Coast and Sydney were hardly major upsets. Sydney are virtually unbeatable on the road and West Coast are the standout of the comp along with Richmond sitting equal tpp of the table.
Only Carlton and the Power were major upsets IMHO.

I said there were 2 MAJOR upsets.
You quoted me and said no, there were 4.
You then agreed there were two.
Noone ever denied there were 4 upsets.
The fact there was only 2 MAJOR upsets means getting 7 wasn't as difficult as another poster said. That was the point.
Off topic woukd you describe horses getting home in the Melbourne Cup at $1.92 or $2.20 as upsets?
Yes or No.

JK wrote:Top game to watch the Showdown. Thought the body language of Port players and the hum of the Port crowd in the first half, had an air of doubt about them, making victory unlikely. Enter Robbie Gray, what a superstar. amazing how much more confident teams are going forward when they have belief in someone converting up front. As always FB was an interesting read after the game between Port and Crow mates. Several calls of Crows "choking" seemed to overlook the fact Port's coughed up the 3 goals (and lead) prior.
Have always thought Kenny would be a good bloke, and like his outlook not just on the game but life itself, so was great to see him brimming with passion at the end. Although being an old bastard though, I didn't (and still don't) understand the meaning behind his hand signals lol.
