My daughter is completing her Cert III in barbering at the moment. There's a real renaissance of the craft going on with all these hipsters sporting skin fade hair cuts and manicured beards.
We went to the Hair and Beauty Awards on Sunday at the Convention Centre, Little Miss had colored, cut and styled a models hair and beard to enter the competition, 15 entrants and she came 5th. Very proud of her given she's still in training.
Best part, free cuts for Dad!

I can relate to that. I decided barbers were getting too expensive in the 1970s and took to cutting my own hair and had done so ever since. The new lady in my life says it is not tidy enough at the back and has been pressurring me to let a professional do it. A deal has been made - she gets to take me to her hairdresser and she pays...

Accounts lady locks up the system. I can't save anything til she gets out of a certain screen. She leaves it up, heads into the owners office for a chat, comes back to her desk for another chat with a sales rep. All about boring as f**k horseshit thats got nothing to do with work.

Does she apply the right colour to your beard so it matches your man bun?

Agree here, when married you need all the help to get other chicks touching you without a sideways look from the Mrs, haircut plus shampoo and head massage is about all I have been able to come up with!
