Collective Minds statement today :
“We were disappointed to see further unsubstantiated claims in relation to Adelaide’s pre-season camp emerge yesterday. As we clearly stated at our media conference, we can only speak on behalf of our business and not the club or individual players.
“It was our call to initiate discussions about formally parting ways with the Crows. This was so the players could focus on their season. The Crows said in June that we had agreed to part ways and that is correct.
“To say we were sacked, twice or even once, is incorrect. We were not “brought back against players’ wishes”. To be very clear: we did not do any work with the team after March 15. Again, the Richmond theme song was not played on the bus during the trip.
“There was a comedian on the bus who sang a few bars of the song, but that was it. The team doctor was briefed on the program before the camp took place, and Club leaders were walked through and signed off on every aspect of it.
“The doctor also cleared all players to take part and was nearby on call.
“We repeat, all due diligence in association with the camp was undertaken and approved. Because we have not been working with the club for some months now, we can’t speak for them.
“All we can go on is what we’ve been told – or the feedback we have received.
“We repeat, we had very positive feedback from the camp and yet understand some sessions didn’t resonate.
“We have received no reports of trauma to players and naturally, we would be very concerned if this were the case. We wish the players and the Crows the very best for the 2019 season.”
PAFC. Forever.
LOOK OUT, WE'RE COMING!
