And as for #69 Guy Morris .... like GTS said I've never seen anyone have a problem with him.. Maybe sour grapes Ted??
Just a hard in and under player. Been in best players 8 weeks in a row after coming back from 3 or so years off with knee problems. Good effort in my book.

Not sour grapes at all. Just telling you what I saw. After one of Uri's midfielders (some left footed ginger nut) who was about half his size disposed of the ball he held him down and gave him 3 or 4 to go on with. Haven't ever seen #66 ever hit anyone.

I think Shearwod and Pope both got around 25 or 26, both boys would consider themselves unlucky to get that many votes and not win the medal.

Hopefully Brad Pearce has enough votes with 4 rounds to go, as he won't pull a vote in his last 4 games. Still picking him ahead of Raidis of Kangarilla. Roughy Luke Murphy from Nairne.

I'll go with Simon Ebert to win from Trigger in Central Div. Maybe Smart from Onkas as an outsider.

I think I've had a dip at this a few weeks ago...
Central A grade - Wood or Loffler...darkie Baldock or Gigney.
Country A grade - from what i've heard D Smith...with a James boy second...or Guitnik as a real roughie, even though leading goalkickers rarely win...if ever?????

Was speaking to Pucka Richards from Uri's at Saturday's Q/F at Birdwood. He was listed by the 'Darwin Bookie' in the HFL Budget as favourite. Can tell you that Pucka hasn't even been invited to the count. Ebert, Anderson & Staples were the only players from Uri's to get invited so it sounds like Loffler won't win it either JQ.

Aah, good info there, Ted.
I'd have to go with Ebert then from uris. Right up there with Wood.

It's no secret our form leading up to the Finals hasn't been crash hot, and we probably needed to nail every opportunity that we had to go far in the Finals (Like last year). Unfortunately when you kick 3.13 in a half of footy, that can come back and hurt ya, which in the end it did. Paul James received his 3rd Yellow for the season for calling the ump 'A Cheat' and wouldn't have been available this week anyway. No doubt Key Position Players will be high on the Clubs and Brett's wish list for next season.
