Karl is annoying prick, and his interview skills are awful. I'm glad he got the arse.

I've recently switched to ABC News Breakfast, and I love it.

As someone who works afternoons/evenings , I love watching the news in the morning.

I'm alive and kicking.. thanks.

Been a whirlwird week, honestly struggle to recall a lot it just all happened, and have struggled a bit for energy and motivation some days - as has the Mrs - but we are going good. Trying to get some of our routines back like sport, and trying to get the kids back into a night time routine which is a little harder staying at my Aunts, but getting there.

Have a few days this week to clean up and remove everything from the property ready for the house to be demolished, and may have a short term accommodation lined up in the coming days which will help immensely until we can find something more permanant.

Beginning to make a list of everyone who has helped out, I would like to give back to them eventually.

Cairns itself isn't that great, need a car to head North or South of city to see some sights out of town.

Agreed, Cairns city ( bar the lagoon > backpackers ) isn't much chop and bar sitting in Rattle N Hum looking over the lagoon, not much worth seeing.

If they had a Kuranda day trip on offer, or Barron Falls day trip I'd say go and do that.
