I need to know if it is worth getting off the ship to go to Cairns today or not.
Tempted to just wait till tomorrow when we're at Port Douglas and stay onboard today and drink free piss and eat free food.

Cairns itself isn't that great, need a car to head North or South of city to see some sights out of town.

... plus you have to buy your piss and food!

In Port Douglas :

Hemingway's Brewery on the Marina, wander around Wharf St to the Court House Hotel and then up the main street into The Central, one of the grandest pubs I've ever been into. Massive place. Out of there, right up Macrossan St to see the main drag and then right into Grant St back to the marina.

On the corner of Grant and Macrossan there's Seashell's Fresh Seafood, grab a muddy to pull apart on the boat later that night.

Been a whirlwird week, honestly struggle to recall a lot it just all happened, and have struggled a bit for energy and motivation some days - as has the Mrs - but we are going good. Trying to get some of our routines back like sport, and trying to get the kids back into a night time routine which is a little harder staying at my Aunts, but getting there.

Have a few days this week to clean up and remove everything from the property ready for the house to be demolished, and may have a short term accommodation lined up in the coming days which will help immensely until we can find something more permanant.

Beginning to make a list of everyone who has helped out, I would like to give back to them eventually.

Well that's great but I can do one better. Not only is there an arrest warrant out for me, but the sheriff (that's right sheriff) is currently looking for me right now.

Now honestly when conducting scams can we have a little more research done in to this please. I mean come on Where's the effort these days. At least the Nigerian guys tried hard with the broken english in there emails lol
