Commiserations to JB and Richo... they sound like they've lost their best friend!

I’m an Essendon fan so know mediocrity well and I see the same similarities with Adelaide. Both clubs highly overate their lists and continue to give games to ploddersRobran wrote:Exactly and it shouldnt be that way.Jim05 wrote:The beauty of the win is the Crows will continue to gift games to duds like Tex [emoji3]MW wrote:That's why never in doubtJim05 wrote: It’s only Melbourne [emoji3]

Ripping night in Darwin, not a breath of wind.
Game was done at half time Crows only in it due to Melb errors.
Tex is done. Bereft of confidence. It I'll give him this though, in the last qtr off the ball he worked his arse off to present and create a contest.his skills his best days are behind him but when the game needed to be won he lifted.
You can see some Crows careers ending in the next 18 months.

Let that be a lesson to you Port, no one beats the Bays five times in a row in a GF and gets away with it!!!

Brining back the old men worked well last night. Lynch and Jenkins carried the forward line and by having some big forwards getting the scoreboard it brought the smaller blokes into the game as well.
It also covered the fact that Walker was off again last might.
In fact I would go as far to say that it Himmelberg played instead of Jenkins last night the crowd probably would have lost as Walker provided very little last night.

You did know he never was and never will be a 20 possession key forward right?
He draws the best defender every week regardless of form. If that allows others to get in the game and tex avg 12 and a goal that's fine by me

Just reading your posts and there is no way you are sitting on your hands.

Gibbs is cooked. Something not right there.
Matched up at a ball up with Oliver.
Ball went up oliver got to the ball drop with no effort from Gibbs to tackle.
Oliver got the handball to someone then followed up again 30 metres from the ball up with Gibbs nowhere in camera shot.

Gibbs held him to 9 poss in the 2nd half after he had 25 in the first half with no tag.tigerpie wrote:Gibbs is cooked. Something not right there.

I didn't watch the whole game, but the play I referred to was in the third quarter I think.MW wrote:Gibbs held him to 9 poss in the 2nd half after he had 25 in the first half with no tag.tigerpie wrote:Gibbs is cooked. Something not right there.

It just looked bad that he wasn't within 30 metres of him from a standing start and oliver had two possessions in that play.
