Re: Adelaide Footy League Division 4 - 2019
Anything worth 6 weeks seems a bit much to use dobbed in in the pejorative sense.
Footy has thankfully evolved to the point we're (so long as the complaint is justifiable) we've moved on from that kind of thinking

Agree, wrong choice of words. Amazing apparently no card even given!

6 weeks for that seems a little high, just like his elbow.
Danny Southern telling Plugga he's fat, I'd like to see that!

On WWT Facebook page, it states Jake is out for personal reasons.

Saw that also but they cleared him today to CBCOC. Let’s see if he lines up for them tomorrow.

They seem to start their games strongly but have been fading late in the last 3 weeks and giving up some big margins which may be a concern.
After 3QT SMOSH 2.0 to CBC 6.5 (won by 5pts)
After 3QT SMOSH 3.0 to CLG 6.3 (won by 21pts)
From halfway thru 3rd SMOSH 0.3 Woodville Sth 7.6 (lost by 11pts)
Will be interesting to see the game this week against Edwardstown who I believe are the best team currently in the Div having lost their 3 games by a combined 8pts
I wouldn’t lose too much sleep about Smosh’s results. Beecken has been missing for a few weeks and he is a big target up forward. Also Woods is a really good defender who sets them up from the back half and he has been out for a bit. They will be hard to beat and will be there when the whips are cracking.
Would not be so sure of that Yank Man!
Heard rumour Woody South dobbed in key SMOSH player, might have got 6 games. Not sure what he did or if any clever people can post it, or time it happened?
Plus think they have about six more out from weekend. With such a tight comp, and looking at their results most wins less than a goal, could have had few less wins. No certainty to even play finals now.
Cracking game at West Lakes today, yes an undermanned Smosh but as I said they will be there when the whips are cracking. They have depth big time and Fairclough is a dead set gun.

Re: Adelaide Footy League Division 4 - 2019
Interesting round ahead with the top 5 all playing bottom 5 teams.
If results all go the way of the top 5 then its hard to see the top 5 changing as all teams would be 3 games and percentage clear of 6th place.
Could we therefore see a few upsets with teams playing to keep their finals hopes alive (especially if its wet as forecast).
Also interesting to see SMOSH heavily outscored again in the last quarter 5.6 to 0.2 (including conceding the last 7 for the game like last week).

Re: Adelaide Footy League Division 4 - 2019
Div 4 seems like a very close division this year with a few teams a good chance to win it on their day
Heard SMOSH were down 17 fit players again on the weekend. If they manage to get a full team on the park and can turn around their last quarter fadeouts they will be a strong contender towards the end of the year

They were missing 5 starting A graders Saturday and had no bench in the last quarter with one injured still on the ground. It’s an interesting debate on their fade outs, but the chip possession game style they play can be very taxing and if they can maintain it for the whole game they will be thereabouts. I still rate them as a contender but anyone can beat anyone on the day. Even CLG having won only one game are not getting beaten by much. Depth will play a big part over the next 8 rounds with the cold and wet weather contributing to injuries. Should be an exciting lead in to finals.

Correct yank man, depth will play a huge part and ours is getting seriously tested.
Our biggest loss in the past 5 weeks is 5 goals so hopefully the illusion win isn’t far away

Just 10 players remain from that Rd 3 win over CBC for CLG. Tough year with injuries - bad ones too.
