Frustrating for Wade to get a start and not being able to cash in and another standard Khawaja innings and dismissal, really needs to do something to stop getting out like that!
Hopefully today we can go beyond a 300 plus lead as much as possible.

It has bounce and carry.
Perfect pitch
Average batting
Perfect?
No, perfect is Adelaide in the 90s and 00s. This isn't perfect. The ball is hooping and darting about all over the place. Great for cricket don't get me wrong but not a 450 pitch.

I like it, although I'm not sure Khawaja has many more runs in him at international level.LaughingKookaburra wrote:Langer has built a strong resilience with this team. If they are down, they aren’t down for long. When they strike they are very potent.
Get Carey and Smith in to this line up. Open with Warner and Khawaja. Then drop Paine and Harris.

Was a good listen, enjoyed cook talking about the differences between him and ravi bopara coming through at the same time and how his lack of shots made it easier for him compared to ravi. Geoffrey going on about roy was classic, wish they just let him have a huge rant about it

The English batting lineup still worries me, they have some explosive batsman in there and some are due
Just need Root to get amongst the runs and someone to support Stokes and they have the ability to chase relatively big totals
The pitch surely will be alot better on day 3 as well and probably not as much movement.
Way the Aussie media etc are carrying on the Ashes coming home are a foregone conclusion.
I'm not so sure as yet
