Kenilworth injuries at the wrong end of the season derailed them.. losing Chesser & Garner for today was massive and probably the difference. Meant JWK and Zesers had to work overtime to make up the gap and it showed in the last as they ran out of legs.
‘Burras had their chances but couldn’t capitalise, Sipek on Liverton was brilliant, Brodie showed why he won the medal and Ryles looks 10 times better player in the back half.
Unfortunate outcome for the best side all year.. but **** em, I’m glad we won.. and credit to Pulteney, they bowed out in the prelim last year and went out and recruited hard... for me.

Well done to Hope Valley and Pulteney on gaining promotion. I’m always proud of our club but the end of the day if we lose 2 finals at home then we shouldn’t go up.
