I'm bias because I know the lad - but Valente got a stinker. Yes he was shouldering arms but very marginal if that ball was coming in enough to be on the line of clipping off stump but regardless it seemed to be going well over stump height. FFS, Gannon is 199 cm and that ball was pitching well short of a good length. Shield bats are not making the runs of 10 plus years ago and no wonder with some of the LBW decisions I've seen in recent years.
