Update Apparently we have been granted a stay of execution. Not sure how long as yet, could be 1 month or 12 months....but its a bonus! Been a very strange period of time not knowing/being told anything.

Yep, we're up "for sale" and we're getting told very little.
Is it 100%? Is it 51%? Is it 49% and the board keeps the controlling share? Very disappointed with how we're being treated, particularly as the company has, at last count, about 40 people over 12 years service (some over 30 years) around NZ and Australia, that's a loyal workforce who I think deserve better.

Stressful times mate. We announced our redundancies in our dept on Thursday. Gone down like a shit sandwich more so to the near retirees who wanted it and didn't get it.

To be honest, I'm not particularly stressed by it as the lack of direction from our senior management wouldn't look good to any prospective buyer, which, in my view, there would be very, very few of. I doubt anyone outside of our industry would be willing to buy into it and I highly doubt anyone in it, bar the multinationals, would be able to afford it and we wouldn't value add to any of those companies.
I've since found out that they withheld the info from staff, was due to they were scared most people would start taking 'sickies' or leave.....but they did make a couple of managers redundant....

Lucky enough to have met him several times.
Sad but why the hell would a cyclist (let lone one with a vision impairment) be on a road where cars are travelling at 110km/hr. Just a matter of time before you're killed surely.

No reason why all can't share the road, just abide by the road rules.
Zane Kirkwood has just ridden from Perth to Adelaide to raise funds for charity, a road where road trains fly by every few minutes, if that can be done safely then a dual lane road north of Adelaide should be fine if road rules are followed.
