A couple of immediate puns.

They should chuck him on the Ruby Princess.
After reading the High Court's decision, I'm amazed his conviction wasn't overturned in the Supreme Court of Victoria.

Spot on if anyone with a bit of common sense reads all the transcripts and not just go by the head lines emanating out of the ABC you might then realise he has been made the scape goat for the sins of the Catholic Church.
Here is the scenario mass finishes it takes two and half minutes from the altar to the front steps of Cathedral
Pell and his attendants spend between 10 to 20 minutes fare welling parishioners
Then proceeds to the sacristy with his attendants takes two and a half minutes
That's say 30 minutes in total right
At the sacristy there are around 20 to forty people around ie his attendants choir boys and adults and various other people
So how does he supposedly rape two boys FIVE minutes after the mass is Pell a magician or what ???
This is nothing but a cultural/poltical hit job
What would you expect in Melbourne where the media had already convicted him even before going to court.
Then we have the corrupt police well that's another story.
26 charges tossed out preposterous ridiculous allegations no witnesses no facts no nothing Viv police have egg on their face.
This morning headlines 2 more charges against Pell yeah sure just re gurgitating previous allegations
SANFL 2000 - 2011 Central District 12 consecutive Grand Final appearances and 9 Premierships.
WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOFFFFFFFFFF.
Hit em hard let them get up and hit em again.

I know they’re busy because of Easter and everything else happening right now but how hard is it to deliver parcels from Melbourne to Adelaide
in a timely manner?
Been waiting over 2 weeks now and the tracking app just says it’s been delayed.
No shit Sherlock but when will I get my parcels.
I've said it before and I'll say it again, Australia Post are the worst organisation for customer service you will encounter.
Ordering through Catch I don’t think you get a choice of courier.
They are by far the worse in my experience as well.
Still **** waiting for my parcels.

Several times but I can’t get through.
Emailed as well but just get an auto reply to say they are currently busy to try again in 3 days.
Not sure what I’m ‘trying’ though.

If you have the tracking number call AP rather than COTD

It’s AP I’m calling.
Or trying at least.
Tracking number x 2 shows no movement since the 6th.
IIRC Jim mentioned they are 2 weeks behind so that could well be the case here.

Nice!
I order all the time from Catch and have never had problems previously.
Catch assure me it’s left the warehouse and it’s AP who’s holding up delivery.
I’ll cut them some slack this time.

Still about 2000 tonnes of unprocessed freight in the network.amber_fluid wrote:Brodlach wrote:amber_fluid wrote:Brodlach wrote:Have you rung about them?

Re: Things that give you the sh1ts
I've been working with a consultant and an architect on a job for several months, good size, not huge but a nice job that was going to be an easy one to manage, initially satisfying the architect with aesthetics and then the engineer with performance.
Form - check
Function - check
Went out to tender, I price and follow up with contractors, have an excellent relationship with the contractor who won the job, priced around 10 variations and architects instructions to help the contractor get some valuable VO's across the line with the builder and he's just approached me to price around 10-20% of the project, the 10-20% of the project that is specific to our product range, as he's gone with another supplier on all the commodity items.
I've just respectfully told him to stick the whole thing up his arse.

I might pay 2/3 of the price they are asking to justify it.

The nature of my job is that sometimes I don't get the ROI that I would like, sometimes I do and some sting more than others. This one really stings. I held their hand all the way through, all of them and they've undercut me and sold me up the river.
