Round 8 Norwood v Glenelg Saturday 1920

Post by PanthersFan »

The first Saturday night game of the season will be a salivating match up. Both teams will be wanting this one badly to go a game clear of the other. Norwood are hitting good form and Glenelg are getting there but still haven't shown their absolute dominance from last year. I think at The Parade that the Redlegs will prove too strong in a close and tough contest.

Norwood by 8 points.

A night game in the middle of winter  Crowd would be double if you played this Sat/Sun at 2:20pm
Anyways, we’re starting to gel a bit better now, lots of new faces are finding their feet.
Bays by 27 pts.

Madness.
Norwood and their bloody night games in winter FFS. (The next 2 are under lights as well).
Ive gotten to the stage where I enjoy the away games during the day more than the home games.
Its Digital Pass for me. Just hope we get decent commentary else its watch on mute.

I was confident of the Legs getting up till I found out Johnston was out, real 50/50 game now.

Bays with a good first quarter up 3.1 to 1.3
Look to quick for Norwood but Norwood with the bigger bodies have taken twice the amount of marks the Bays have.

On the balance of play the Bays should be much further in front, far too good for us

Need to win at least 1 of our next two to keep season alive and just don’t see it happening. That was nothing short of pathetic

Was a classic contender v pretender game. Bays still the team to beat when the whips get cracking.

Cotton’s game plan makes it very hard to win home and away games with the bruise free sideways obsession. And it is a proven failure in finals. Stubborn and Stupid.
