Collingwood are not looking to move him on.
He's a contracted, required player. It would have to be a very sweet deal for him to be traded. Top 5 pick and a gun player required to get that done.
Neither Queensland team can afford that so he'll be a pie next year.
I would highly doubt that. He's a gun and in his prime.

Would you get rid of him to keep Degoey and Mihochek? Your salary cap is obviously tight and someone is going to leave. Treloar is obviously a jet but he's replaceable as most midfielders are bar the truly great ones. You could get something decent for him and keep everyone else.
Treloar burns the footy so much. And with his wife and child being in QLD who’s to say he will all that comfortable with life, let alone footy, in 2021.
If there’s one with currency that I’d be moving on, it’d be him.

The way the afl explained FA and the way its working are miles apart. Has any big name gone to a lower club? Geelong seem to be benefitting more than most but i would much rather they focussed on giving younger players a go in front of players like j.steven, j.jenkins, and rumours like higgins & i.smith. Geelongs late 2000's success was built on the drafting during the early 2000's. All those 2001 players who turned into club legends were given a real go at an early stage. Yes if dangerfield or cameron are an option your taking them every day but pass on anyone who isnt a star. My 2c.
Franklin, Dangerfield, Ablett, Lynch, some of the biggest names are a mixed bag.
Franklin and Dangerfield sort of void, both went from clubs close to the top to clubs close to the top.
It's only really Ablett who left Geelong to the Gold Coast that's been a FA who has gone to a low club. Lynch and now Cameron have left soulless franchises to go to stronger traditional clubs.

In case you missed it, plenty of young blokes given games in front of j.steven, j.jenkins, and they were just about freebies. Smith aint going to cats.

Like Geelong, Hawthorn built a formidable squad on the back of draft picks (Hodge, Franklin, Roughy etc) Then, whilst they were in the premiership window they exploited Free Agency totop up their list. Geelong appear to be doing something similar. Works well for a few years, but at some stage you will lose a lot of stars around the same time and you end up having to do a rebuild like Hawks are having to do now. Can't blame clubs for going hard for success in the short term.
^^^ geelong are playing in the gf so theyre clearly doing it right at tge top end of FA. I'd just prefer to see more of Narkle & less Steven this year and more of Simpson than Higgins (rumour) next year.

Fair enough, but the bottom line is that they sacrificed draft picks for established players.
