So if McCartins blood sugar isn't right he can be a ticking time bomb?
Him and his club need to get that sorted if that's indeed true.
They've basically admitted he can go rogue, so duty of care is on them.

When will clubs learn?

So, Petracca locked away for 8 years .... thats a long time. Not all long term contracts are a disaster. In hindsight Dusty's 7 year deal in 2017 looks a cracking deal for Richmond, but at the time many would have questioned it. I think Petracca is just about the best player in the competition at the moment, but time will tell.

After the Treloar cock up I thought clubs might be a bit gun shy on that long contract.

Its interesting that the AFL haven't thought of playing games in more regional areas now that lockdowns seem to be just cities (or parts thereof).

For example the world surf league are currently in Margaret River WA and had to go there from NSW last week when the lockdown was in Perth, but as they flew into Bussleton they were uneffected.

I think the different power balance in American pro sport, with players' unions having far more clout, explains why organizations are more willing to criticise the league.

Anyone see act 2 yesterday?

Basically at the face off it was gloves off, sticks down and into it.

Rangers attitude was, “If the league won’t take action to Wilson’s hit, we will....”
Let that be a lesson to you Port, no one beats the Bays five times in a row in a GF and gets away with it!!!

The Caps knew it was coming so they dropped their gloves first. 3 simultaneous fights within a second of the puck being dropped and then when Wilson came on for his first shift he got jumped immediately by Smith with Wilson sending him to the locker room for medical attention. A further 2 fights in the opening period and 20 penalties in the first period alone. Ended up a total of 141 penalty minutes served by players.
Caps won most of the fights so the Rangers tactics didn’t work too well.
The 2 teams hate each other even before the incident so was great to see yesterday

Thanks to Joel, who will play his 319th AFL game on Friday against St Kilda the Selwood brothers will reach 750 combined games played. They are currently three behind the Daniher brothers who have played the most combined matches, 752.

They've only won two matches this season yet Essendon have kicked the equal second most goals (110, equal with West Coast). The Bulldogs have the most with 114. The Bombers also lead the competition in tackles- 541, 31 more than second placed Melbourne.

The Bulldogs lead the competition in disposals (3189), average disposal efficiency (76.5%), behinds (109) and average disposal efficiency inside 50 (53.8%).

Lycett's 4 weeks is on the money, can't have that in the game.

How did Finlayson only get 1 though?
If you want to go quickly, go alone.

If you want to go far, go together.

I think they would have found his initial contact is to the arm/shoulder area and slid up to the neck/head.

Agree that's where the system was broken.

At least one was an act of football whilst the other was filthy.
