Willaston and Angaston are my bets for the 2021 flag. Both sides can scrap tooth and nail when they need too. Something South's can't handle. South will have their implosion when the heat goes too high. Just like the south of the past 2 decades
Im pretty sure its near on impossible to win the flag from 5th, 6th or 7th. South have a poor record at Tanunda, any win there is monumental. They will win the flag by 10 goals. It might even be you blokes that are lucky enough to be the support act on GF day

Nuri by79 over Angaston, im telling ya, theres one win left in us, even that game, Freeling will be up and about for their only chance to win a game this year. No ticker, have turned the toes up and used injuries as an excuse.

The BLG just made the stupidest decision ever. The 2 games missed have been declared a draw and still only a top 4. This wasnt even one of the options they sent out to the clubs. Yes Angaston have been absolutely bent over a reamed sideways here, the only team that were due to play Freeling in those two games missing out on an easy 2 points and valuable % that every other team in the race gets. Almost impossible for us to make the finals now.

Disgraceful call by the peanuts running the show
Absolutely, has wiped out our reserves season too i would think. Have the directors made this call or the clubs? I assume its the clubs, how can they make an unbiased call, they would all be worried if we were at full strength and playing finals, wont have to worry abbout that now. This is why you have directors that take it out of the clubs hands.

Basically south are smack bang next door to one of the worst parts of gawler with outdated facilities and just enough parking to fit a couple of Holden Barinas is another way to put it.
Said it before, will say it again. South will not win the flag and cough up their season when the heat comes. Can see the Barossa Tigers or Willaston making them look silly come finals. The wheels will fall off and they'll slide back into their abyss of mediocre football they've had since 1993.

Pretty much what I figured, I've driven past during a home game and there's cars from arsehole to breakfast spilling out on to Dawson Road and I'm not brave enough to venture through the area to the east of the oval.
Extremely rough on South (a favorite activity of everyone from the Valley) - their facilities aren't the best but generally speaking all Gawler finals should realistically be hosted at Willaston (and run by each of the Gawler clubs) anyway
In normal years the Gawler Show affects Gawler Oval in September, and the parking at Willaston (and upcoming new lights) just makes sense!

Gawler Centrals oval has reasonable facilities and can comfortably hold a grand final. If barossa could do it at lyndoch the year we lost to them. Then no reason it shouldn't be at Gawler oval. The 2 grand finals they have had there in the past decade have been successes in my opinion.
Not so much on the field when we got done by Nuri a few years back though.
Not the ideal warm up for next week with South getting a comfortable 160 point win today. All comes down to next week, Angaston looking pretty good currently and will be a tough contest.

You need to rest a few to make sure theyre cherry ripe for finals. No point risking injury in a nothing game for you guys.
